'Tis the season, it seems, for "rule making."
Obamacare now requires scores of bureaucracies to generate supporting regulations. FinReg legislation left most of the details up to various agency for rule-making. EPA is continuously rolling out new regs, which now include GHG emissions.
Which got me thinking. What if I made the rules -- and thought rule making a wise endeavor? What energy policy changes would I gin up?
I did my best to embrace a liberal aura -- to accept a sense of entitlement over Other People's Money, an openness to directing the behavior of strangers, and an ambivalence about unintended consequences -- and develop some ideas to Do Good.
